Itinerary description
Αρχίζοντας από την παραλία των Ποτιστικών, ανηφορίζουμε μέχρι την όμορφη πλατεία της Ξινόβρυσης, όπου μπορούμε να κάνουμε στάση, και στη συνέχεια επιστρέφουμε στα Ποτιστικά από το κύριο καλντερίμι. Στο ανέβασμα έχουμε επίσης την επιλογή να κάνουμε μια μικρή παράκαμψη (μισή ώρα πήγαινε-έλα) για να επισκεφθούμε την τοποθεσία Μπουρμπουλήθρα, μέσα στο Μεγάλο Ρέμα μεταξύ Συκής και Ξινόβρυσης που τρέχει πάντα νερό, όπου το 1944 οι Γερμανοί εκτέλεσαν 14 πατριώτες και υπάρχει αναμνηστικό. Χρόνος συνολικά 4 ώρες με τις στάσεις ή 3,5 ώρες χωρίς την επίσκεψη στη Μπουρμπουλήθρα. Σήμανση με στρόγγυλα πινακιδάκια και κόκινα σημάδια.

Starting from the beach of Potistika, we climb to the square of Xinovrisi where we can have a refreshment and then return back down to the beach following the old kalderimi route. On our way up, we also have the option to visit the location Bourboulithra at the Megalo Rema stream between Xinovrisi and Siki (always with running water), where 14 people were executed in 1944 (there is a memorial at the streambed). This option will take half an hour with return. Total time with long stops was 4 hours (including the visit to Bourboulithra). The route is signed with round yellow signs and red paint.

Nice little walk we made at the beginning of June (it took us just under three hours). The way up is fine. The way down was partly very overgrown in the upper part. We assume, because of Corona a cut of the plants was not possible. Further down it got better and thanks to Wikiloc we found the way without any problems. Thank you very much! Great Job! The first taverna in Xinovrisi is a clear recommendation - nice people, great food!
