Itinerary description

Αn easy and beautiful walk on kalderimi, cleaned and signed in 2016. Duration 1,5 hour (walking time 1.15'). The last section on earth road. Potistika is a tourist beach where food and lodging can be found in the summer season. See more details at Walking in Pelion: http://walking-pelion.blogspot.gr/2016/03/xinovrisi-potistika.html

(path is partly closed needs reopening)

tried to do the trail in july 2018. trail start was completely closed from dry folliage, as locals informed.

with lots of snake skins lying around there is no reason trying to cross the dense dry folliage in summer.

for people that want to walk from argalasti to melani/potistika beach, there is an almost straight dirt road that you see on the left about 1.5km(?) after turning right to Paltsi crossroad, from main Argalasti-Ormou road.

we are grateful to people that maintain the paths (either paid or not) yet locals say money is received/given but not used to clean them. whether this is true or not, i feel it must be expressed here for people to stuble upon.
