Itinerary description
Aπό τον Άγιο Γεώργιο, ανηφορίζουμε περνώντας από την πηγή Μαυρομάτη και φθάνουμε στο Μοναστηράκι (1295 μ.). Από εκεί, κατηφορίζουμε σε μονοπάτι σε δάσος με ψηλές οξιές προς την τοποθεσία Τρία Ρέματα και περνούμε το Κισσώτικο ρέμα. Στη συνέχεια, βαδίζουμε σε δρόμο μέσα σε δάσος καστανιάς μέχρι τον Κισσό. Starting from Agios Georgios village square, we climb initially on the route to Chania, passing from Mavromati spring, to reach the crossroads location of Monastiraki (1295 m.). Then, head downhill into beech forest to location Tria Remata, pass the main stream and continue on earth road in chestnut forest to reach the village of Kissos. Walking time 4.20', time with stops about 6 hours.

Excellent walk through the beech forests of pelion. The path is a little obscured in places and there is one landslide which is passable with a little care.
