Itinerary description

This is part to the Peb trek, This route is reasonably difficult (especially in rain) and is very beautiful as well. However, chances to loose track are quite high and a local guide is preferred. Do not take this route for the way down and take the ridge to matheran rail track (diversion around the shiv mandir- vikateshwar near the top)

You have to move from the station towards matheran taxi stand and have to cross the main road (that goes to karjat). Continue to move further on that road and you will see a white bunglow and electricity transmission towers around 10'o clock. There is also a small river (monsoonal) towards your left which you are not supposed to cross :). The trail goes through fields and once you reach the tower you need to follow the towers. After about 1-2 hrs of climb you will reach a ridge from where you have to go left (do not go right). https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/peb-part-2-520207/photo-144334

    Hey Santosh!
I guess you would have found the answer to your question by now! Anyways I am answering for others who don't know-

You can use wikiloc app from Playstore for tracking the trail but It's a paid feature. Alternatively, you can download the trail and take print of a high res image using Google earth pro (It's free now). Track your location and trail using other apps on playstore like MapMyHike/Endomondo/Runkeeper etc! Hope it helps :-)
