Itinerary description
Sunny day to leave a car at Devonian carpark and drive to Libra Pl which is a dead end leading to the trail which tees into the Galloping Goose trail.
A short distance to the left leads to an entrance to the Pearson forest with its many trails leading down to Pedder Bay and the marina. After a pleasant pause for coffee the return was past the College, along the Galloping Goose for a couple of kilometres to Lombard St. and Devonian Park which has very attractive trails down to the sea and back to the car.
The possible parallel hiking of the seashore instead of the Goose was discussed but this alternative was left for another day. The seashore route was confirmed from the end of the Devonian Park.
