Itinerary description
The trail runs mostly along a ridge with nice views of rocks, ridges, vistas and distant lakes. Mostly open with tree cover at the beginning and no water on the trail.
Meadows Lake Road intersects the PCT just before a meadow with lots of parking. It is a good quality dirt road that does not require a high clearance vehicle or four wheel drive. There are no fees or facilities and just small PCT trail signs.
