Itinerary description
The plan was to do the Tolmie Peak trail but the road was closed (cause of snow) from the trailhead of the Paul's peak hike. So we decided to try to get to the lake. At one point we took a wrong turn and hiked back up. Unfortunately the lake wasn't reachable because of snow on the route. We did not bring snowshoes and a couple told us it would get much worse further uphill. Still we enjoyed the hike, saw 6 other hikers, and 2 little snakes, birds. It is so nice and quiet on the trail.
