Itinerary description
A free hike through the paramo above Cujacal and in Mora Sucro.
Be sure to take a taxi till the main road ends close to the Iglesia San Fransisco. We asked our hotel host to book a taxi and we paid 15K. Ask his number and maybe he can pick you up from the same place. Otherwise walk down to Iglesia de Cujacal and there are buses going back to town there (we did this since our taxi asked 30K)
The hike: First part is through the farms on cobblestone which lasts about 3 Km where the road splits. The left side is through quite grown forest.
At the end you have to walk over the farm to reach the road up to the paramo. It’s again a cobblestone road. We took a few routes through the paramo which was amazing but be sure not to step the frailejones!
