Itinerary description
Parz lake is one of the hidden places in Armenia. The name ''Parz'' means "Clear'', ''Pure'', ''Transparent'', so imageni what scene is to see the lake in a forest!
So this way length is 6.25 km .
First part of the way you go up, the secon part you'll go down to the village Gosh, where XII century monastery Goshavank is situated.
Season: Spring, Summer, Autumn
There is a Transcaucasian trail passes from Parz lake to Gosh village, but this is a short way to the lake Gosh. It includes only a part of Transcaucasian trail, so if you want to follow the longer and the better trail, search for " Goshavank to Parz lake/ Transcaucasian trail " in my trails section.
What else you should know?
MOSQUITOS!!! There are a lot of mosquitos from mid June till October, so it would be better to wear long sleeve instead of t-shirt.
