Itinerary description

This hiking trip is part of the Fred Welter path. We start in Scheidgen, walk towards Berdorf, Müllerthal and Consdorf where we leave the Fred Welter trail to go back to our starting point in Scheidgen. The first part of the walk towards Berdorf is the easy part, we see some nice rock formations in the beginning of the walk, not much further the road is paved and we have a nice walk between some fields with a view of the surroundings. On route from Berdorf to Müllerthal we see the large beech trees and rocks which identify this area, the path is still not so hard because we are descending. From Müllerthal towards Consdorf comes the challenging part, the path goes up and down with some stairs you will have to take but than again you are rewarded by the beautiful rock formations Ramelay and Schelmenlay. When we are almost at the camping of Consdorf we leave the Fred Welter path, have a little climb to the main road and walk back to Scheidgen using the well-kept sidewalk. There are more benches on this track than the waypoints i have put on the map because of the limitation of waypoints.
