Parque Natural do SW Alentejano e Costa Vicentina. Stage T04 - Aljezur - Odeceixe

(English follows) Esta etapa de la Ruta Vicentina comienza en Aljezur, dejando el coche allí. Se camina hasta la parte derecha de la playa de Amoreira antes de empezar a caminar siguiendo el acantilado. En la playa, justo antes de girar a la derecha, hay un bar-restaurante ideal para un último refresco. Una vez que se comienza a caminar siguiendo el acantilado se alterna el suelo de tierra y el de arena. La velocidad media no puede ser muy alta y es aconsejable pantalón largo por la vegetación. El camino llega a varios desfiladeros que requieren un poco de cuidado para bajarlos y subirlos. Se pierde mucho tiempo así que al llegar al tercero decidimos caminar hacia el interior y seguir un camino alternativo que es seguir el canal de Rogil. Este canal lleva directamente hasta Odeciexe, se llega por la parte alta del pueblo. La parte del camino que hemos seguido por el acantilado ofrece unas panorámicas impresionantes y la parte del canal ofrece un aroma muy agradable, porque discurre entre pinos. En conjunto es una etapa larga pero muy gratificante. Como siempre volvemos a por el coche en taxi, esta vez con Taxi Novais (93 978 03 96). The road reaches several ravines that require a little care to go down and up. Much time is wasted so, arriving at the third, we decided to walk inland and follow an alternative path which is to follow the channel of Rogil. This channel takes you directly to Odeciexe, arriving to the high part of the village. The path along the cliff offers breathtaking panoramic and the part of the channel offers a very pleasant aroma, because goes throught pine and plants. Altogether is a long but very rewarding stage.
