Itinerary description
Cualquier pregunta me avisan.

Three days of trekking, two nights of camping alone in some beautiful areas in El Cajas.
A few details:
I took the bus from the Terminal Terrestre Cuenca to Guayaquil and got off at the beginning of the trail along the highway. I left the terminal at 9:55am arriving at that point on the highway at 11:15am.
The first night I camped by the Ingacocha lagoon. My tent was on the route between Ingacocha and Ickycocha.
From there on the morning of day 2, I walked a long distance with my light backpack to see the other lagunas. The weather helped me a lot because it just drizzled a little bit and later it was clear and sunny for the rest of the day. I reached up to almost 4300m on a rocky peak for the highest point with an incredible view. I do not recommend doing that if the conditions are not right or you do not have experience with that.
The second night I camped by Ventanas. There is a very nice camping area on the shore! There are hills all around to climb and see the sunrise and/or sunset. It is also close to the Cascarillas lagunas. From this camping area, you can easily access the trail to the road/highway that goes to Soldados.
If you don't have a car/transportation, the options are the only bus that goes through Soldados around 2pm (so it would be earlier if you are exiting the path from the Ventanas trail). Or you can also hitchhike. Normally there is someone going to Cuenca who can take you.
Keep in consideration:
I wanted to record the route to note references. This route is somewhat complicated because there are no signs, but hopefully this route can help you a little. I included many photos so you have an idea of what it looks like. I recommend you only use my path for reference, don't follow it exactly as it is. I tried to search and mark all of the camping areas that I could find. Let me know if y’all have any questions.
