Itinerary description
There are parking spaces at the start, but the last two miles to get there are on an earth track.
Entrance to the park was 15,500 pesos per person.
Paths are mainly well indicated and very clear, although care is always needed as it is very humid and slippery. Fog is nearly always present.
I was part of an organised group, http://www.caminantesdelretorno.com, and we had a walk leader.
At the Refugio you also have a restaurant and bar. There is also a small shop and cafe at the start of the walk.
