Itinerary description
ValVaccara new track!
Leave your car at the parking lot Punta Veleno and start from there. Be ware, if you follow me track you will pass private properties, so please lower your voice and do not leave any rubbish. You will also find horses on the track, don't disturb.
The track is interesting because it takes you directly to Malga Valvaccara. It's steep but in the woods, thus it's in the shadow.
Fromm Malga Valvaccara follow CAI 55 to Baito Buse, in the crossroad go right and follow the signs (red/white). You will end in the Val delle Buse, go straight forward (no signs, follow the track in the grass). If you turn left following the re/white signs, your will end up in Rif. Telegrafo.
In another crossroad , look right(pay attention) you will see the red/white signs again. Now you are on CAI 57 (Pastora). Follow the signs up to Coal Santo.
In the crossroad if you follow my track you will go over Cima Costabella (2053mt) but you can also choose to take CAI 658(on your left) around the mountain and get to Rif. Chierego in 20min. (Not good if you have vertigo) or go around the other track (CAI 651) also 20min. Beautiful panorama.
From Rif. Chierego just follow my track (it's steep but short) down to Malga Valvaccara again. From here just follow CAI 55 to the crossroad and instead of going to the right, just follow the road to Baito Buse. From here follow the red dots down to the parching Punta Veleno.
