There are times when plans go awry and one of your main goals falls off the list. On my occasion, Taranaki was impossible due to the bad weather of those days and I had to abort all plans.
So looking for what to do in New Plymouth to relieve the desire to go up somewhere was when Paritutu Rock came onto my radar. You can't compare it but less was nothing.
