Itinerary description
Paria Bay and Waterfall can be reached from Matelot, from Brasso Seco, or from Blanchisseuse... I started the trek from Blanchisseuse. This is a lovely one day hike and offers the hiker quite a lot of exposure to Trinidad in it's most natural form. The hike is very easy once you're able to get past "Kilimanjaro Hill." I don't know where this name originates from but this very steep climb literally sneeks up on you. Along the trail there are several isolated Bays that are very picturesque. You also have a chance to venture out onto "Turtle Rock." This rock was named for it's shape. Once at Paria Bay you encounter "Cathedral Rock." Half way up Paria Bay there's the very short trail to the waterfall...

Easy trail... It's popular so it gets crowded on weekends... Turtle Rock is a must see...
