De Pari a Mazeri
Interesant primer tram de la travessa on començarem a tenir un bon gust de boca del que ens trobarem els propers dies, sortim de la nostra guest House Irakli (menjar molt abundant i bo, la casa molt correcta) i ens dirigim cap a la pista des d’on havíem arribat, D’allí surt una altra pista que puja cap a dalt a un collet on ja tenim unes primeres vistes de l’entorn. Baixem cap a creuar el riu Kenn que ho fem per uns trocs. Un cop creuat el riu pujarem cap al poblet Pkhutreri on agafem la pista que ens porta cap al nucli Barshi on trobem la primera torre Svan (típica d’aquesta zona de Svaneti). Seguim la pista amunt per la marge dreta del riu i després d’una bona estona la pista comença a girar a la dreta, on planejant trobem unes cabanes de pastors, seguim amunt cap al pas de Bak (2428m). Ja tenim vistes impressionants de la muntanya Ushba (4710m) que ens acompanyarà en tot el viatge. Comença la baixada cap a Mazeri amb molt bones vistes per tot arreu fins arribar a la nostra casa d’ostes Shuan (molt acollidora i bon menjar).

From Pari to Mazeri
Interesting first stage of the route where we will begin to have a good taste of what we will find in the next days, we left our Guest House Irakli (food very abundant and good, the house was nice and clean) we headed towards the track from where we had arrived, from there comes another track that goes up a small pass where we had our first views of the surroundings. We went down to cross the river Kenn through some logs. After crossing the river, we went up to the village of Pkhutreri, from there we followed the track to the village of Barshi where we saw the first Svan tower (typical of this Svaneti area). Follow the track up, after a while the track begins to turn to the right, where we found some shepherds' huts, we continue to the Bak pass (2428m). The views are breath-taking, Ushba mountain (4710m) and surroundings are beautiful. Start the descent to Mazeri with great views everywhere until you reach our Shuan guesthouse (very nice, tidy and good food).
