The stage is very long, and there are large stretches away from the villages, so it is necessary to bring a supply of water. The first part, up to Visnjan, is very beautiful, varied, almost all on dirt. It crosses vineyards, olive groves and plowed fields in which the characteristic Istrian earth emerges, red because it is rich in iron oxides.
The second part of the route is more monotonous, as it runs alongside the paved road for various stretches.
The arrival at the sea and the visit of the beautiful town of Parenzo-Porec compensates for the efforts of the walk. We stop at Spadici, where we have a room.
Absolutely to visit the Old City, a pedestrian area with numerous historical testimonies. The Roman signs are evident: the original streets, the Decumanus and the Cardo Massimo, are still viable, and the Decumanus is the main street of restaurants, bars and shops, you can then see the remains of the forum and the Temple of Neptune.
Noteworthy Venetian architecture and the Byzantine Euphrasian Basilica, declared a UNESCO heritage site, to visit.
