Itinerary description
Nos ha tocado un día de chirimiri y nubes bajas. Con el Grupo de Cath, anduvimos desde Parauta a Igualeja, ida y vuelta. Aunque dice el contrario, hecho de este manera es una ruta circular. Había que cruzar un arroyo, que con las lluvias de los días anteriores estaba bastante lleno. Un poco más y hubiera sido un problem. Hay subidas, pero suaves. En un día de sol, sería una ruta muy agradable. Procura visitar el Nacimiento del Río Genal en Igualeja. Los dos pueblos merecen dejar tiempo par una visita, y hay unos bares muy acogedores.
With Cath´s group, we walked from Parauta to Igualeja return. Even though this page says the opposite, this is really a circular route. We had to cross a stream, which was swollen from recent rains. A bit more and we would have had a problem. There are some climbs, but they are gentle. On a sunny day, it would be a veryt nice route. Make sure you visit the source of the River Genal in Igualeja. You should leave time to visit the villages, which are very nice and have some friendly bars.
We picked a day of low clouds and drizzle.
