Itinerary description

From parking area at the end of Sand Point Road walk down to the ocean where you see a number of four-wheel tracks heading northeast up the coast. Most all tracks lead to the beach but just stay close to the shoreline and hike 4.5km to a small inlet and a set of stairs that leads down to the beach. Incidentally Green Sand Beach gets its rare colour from olivine crystals that rise to the surface during a volcanic eruption. Truly a beautiful spot.
