Itinerary description
An easy to moderate walk from Panteli beach to the Quarry beach.
Most of the walk is on paved or dirt road. You will come across two fenced doors that should be tied up each time you pass, in order to keep the roaming goats and sheep within limits.
There is a smaller cove before the Quarry beach that is also suitable for swimming and can be reach by hiking down the dry stream bed.
Above the Quarry beach, there are still excavations in progress on, so mind the occasional dust and noise.
Also, you will notice that I hiked downhill rather than follow the dry stream bed. That was done to avoid the herding dogs that guard the flocks of sheep in the nearby sheep farm. There is a herder who visits the farm daily and might help with an easier hike downhill.
I then continue towards the settlement of Agkyra and visit the Italians’ Communication Center, with the three still-standing antennas for their radio communications.
Unfortunately I unknowingly paused trail recording and the route was not completed till Panteli, as I originally intended.
There is scarce 3G signal at Quarry beach for texting.

Nice trail, with nice views. The dry bed stream down the ntamari beach was closed due to vegetation.
