Itinerary description
I have to admit that this trail is in decay. Though we walked just part of the official one, that part showed that the trail needs maintenance mostly information wise.
We have followed someones route and that saved us a lot of time in finding the way.
The aim was to visit Agiou Dimitriou cave church.
TERRAIN: asphalt, concrete and gravel roads most of the way. Some part was the stone formation and a wheel track in the middle of nowhere. Some milld ascent in the first part. The 2nd part almost fully follows asphalt road.
SEASON: no shade at all. Better cool season, in late winter and spring one can see a lot of anemones along the way.
Beware in the hunting season, the area is full of shooting hunters.
SIGNS: not many signs unfortunately. Better follow someone’s route.
KIDS: all ages are welcome.
Parking is possible at the start along the road.

You're correct quite a lot of this trail is overgrown and in poor order. Sadly we gave up as we were wearing shorts and T shirt's which were entirely unsuitable.
