Route-Club de Montaña La Verea- Eurorando 2021, Sibiu, Romania.
We leave the Păltiniș ski resort on a lane that goes into the forest with a gradual ascent gently.
Later, ascending with more slope until reaching Paiona Gāujoara, an area in a sloping meadow, clear of trees, through which we continue to the left, we enter the forest again and after 2.30km we come out to Cantonul Musel, a wooden house with a fence where we rest and We regain our strength. We continue the march around the house and after 1.7km we reach the treeless area Poiana Oncesti facing the Oncesti, it is covered with forest and crowned near the summit (Left) by telecommunications antennas we continue straight by meadow (without path) by marks to the foot of the Oncesti where we take an ascending path with demanding uphill sections. We reach the summit of Vârful Oncești and after crowning we head along the ridge towards the Păltiniș Chairlift, once there, we take a path to the left to avoid descending the ski slope, although later we will descend a section and leave it then to the right downhill towards the station. Arriving very close to the exit, in the parking lot where the bus waits and we end the route.
Be careful with the BEARS !!!

Very nice hike! I was there a few years ago too ... my wife is from Sibiu. I'm surprised you got there because I think you're from Spain. Beautiful journey ahead! Watch out for the bears!
