Itinerary description
First, you have to go to Palasë shoreline and take after the trail to the church. Take after the way behind the church until the point that you will go to an unpaved road with a few bunkers. After 500 meters, you will confront a sheep path which will lead you until the end. The trail runs parallel to the sea and the landscape is exceptionally lovely. It isn’t very steep.
After 8.5 km of hiking, you will arrive at Shën Andre Bay (Gjiri i Shën Andreut). After arriving at the Shën Andre Bay, there is around 4.5 km left to the Grama Bay (Gjiri i Gramës). The trail runs parallel with the sea as well, and it is extremely wonderful. You will take after the way, to the point that you land to an old military station which was utilized amid the communist time. From that point, you can appreciate the most delightful perspective of this hike, the perspective of the Grama Bay. It is an immaculate shoreline in an extraordinary environment, where you can appreciate the nature or bathe in the perfectly clear seawater.
There isn’t any water source in this hike, subsequently, I would propose a considerable measure of water – around 4 liters. The climate is warm, particularly beginning from May to October, so the best time for this hike is early spring and late autumn, and the total distance for this hike is 13 km.

I loved this trail. It was a bit difficult to find the start, at the corner of the beach on the right side. There is a big gated community being build so you can take it also from there and it is easier as the road is wide. It is a bit long. I lost a lot of time in the first km taking pictures but would recommend you don't. The second part is much better so walk through and wait for better spots. The first part is a bit more difficult. Stones in the path and little shade. Take planty of water. This said it was not difficult and the views are breathtaking. Definitely one of my favourites. Dyring the high season you can walk to the bay and take the boat back (or reverse). I did this by myself. No guide needed. Pretty safe. In the afternoon always gets windy which provides some relief but in a hot day bring a lot of water and suntan
Pershendetje shtegu gjeri ne fund si tek foto esht apo esht me keq
A mund te behet me mtb biciklet !?

way is beautiful and not difficult as already mentioned BUT in the high season its getting very hot along the trail, specially at the 2nd part there is not much of shadow. it’s really recommendable to take a boat back from grama bay. if you wanna spend some time at the beaches (and you have to spend time at the beaches!), you will not make it back in time.
we started at 6:30 at the green coast and after 3 hours we arrived at the Beach - absolutely stunning. we were there alone, just 3 boats arrived but left right away. so we stayed there till 1pm and continued to grama bay. and this was very difficult. it’s not the way itself, but the heat. we were struggling and we are pretty experienced hikers, just not in a heat like that 😅
on the top of grama bay don’t get nervous when you can’t find the track down right away and be careful at the cliffs. stick to the track like it is on the map, after the old military ruin go bit right. and the best thing when you made it: down at the beach there is a bar. cheers 🍻
we asked the waiter if we could go back by boat because we are to exhausted to go back and we will not made it before sun goes organized us taxi service. so we drove back by boat and saw this stunning landscape not just from up, but also from down. plus the taxi driver showed us also all the caves on the way back to the golden coast.
ps: can’t imagine better place to put my tent on the beach and stay overnight there.
