P2.01 - Da Sacco a Bellosguardo

Il percorso parte dalla piazza principale del caratteristico borgo di Sacco, il punto di partenza è raggiungibile in macchina e uno slargo consente la sosta delle autovetture.
Il percorso ha inizio nei caratteristici vicoli del paese, all’interno dei quali è possibile “respirare” un’aria di serenità e tranquillità; dopo qualche centinaio di metri c’è la possibilità di fermarsi a visitare un luogo di culto importante per la popolazione di Sacco e cioè la Chiesa di San Silvestro.
Da qui si prosegue in direzione “Sorgenti del Sammaro”, una volta giunti in prossimità del fiume esso va guadato e quindi attraversato con molta cautela per proseguire lungo il sentiero in direzione Roscigno. Arrivati in paese si prosegue sulla strada asfaltata e si seguono le indicazioni che conducono all’affascinante e singolare borgo di Roscigno Vecchia (vedi foto allegate).
Dopo una doverosa sosta, si prosegue in direzione Bellosguardo prestando molta attenzione ad un tratto in cui si è verificato uno smottamento che ha compromesso la percorribilità della strada. Con molta attenzione e cautela è comunque possibile superare questo breve tratto e proseguire lungo il percorso fino ad arrivare nella piazza di Bellosguardo dalla quale è possibile godere di una vista interessante.
Percorso non particolarmente difficile da seguire, vista anche la presenza di vari tratti su strade asfaltate e aperte al traffico veicolare.

The route starts from the main square of the characteristic village of Sacco, the starting point can be reached by car and an open space allows cars to park.
The route begins in the characteristic alleys of the town, within which it is possible to "breathe" an air of serenity and tranquility; after a few hundred meters there is the possibility of stopping to visit an important place of worship for the population of Sacco, namely the Church of San Silvestro.
From here you continue in the direction of “Sorgenti del Sammaro”, once you reach the river it must be forded and then crossed with great caution to continue along the path in the direction of Roscigno. Once in the village, continue on the asphalt road and follow the signs that lead to the fascinating and unique village of Roscigno Vecchia (see attached photos).
After a necessary stop, continue in the direction of Bellosguardo, paying close attention to a stretch where a landslide occurred which compromised the road's practicability. With great attention and caution it is however possible to overcome this short stretch and continue along the route until reaching the Bellosguardo square from which it is possible to enjoy an interesting view.
The route is not particularly difficult to follow, given the presence of various sections on asphalted roads open to vehicular traffic.
