Itinerary description
This is a loop hike from the Ovcar Banja carpark (take the green bridge off the main road). it roughly follows route 4 or 4A (I can't remember which), up the back to the left of Kablar, eventually reaching the 889m summit and then heads to the 885m viewpoint for the beautiful Western Morava River Meanders. From there it heads down via route 3.
At a couple of points we went a bit off trail, mostly due to a lot of melting snow turning paths into creeks of mud. It's worth having walking poles if you except to encounter mud or ice for any reason. At one point we hiked through someone's farm by accident - they weren't around and we closed all the gates we opened, but you should follow trail 4 more closely than we did on the way up if you want to avoid this!
The hike is not technically difficult - but there is a decent amount of ascent and descent and overall distance covered for a day hike.
There are no springs or places to refill water bottles until the Planinarski Dom (Mountaineers Hut), which is towards the end of the hike. Take enough water!
If you have someone picking you up and didn't want to do a whole loop, the Dom is where you reach flat ground again and a sensible end point.

Go right - trail to Kablar 889m - the summit
You do not need to come back to this point in order to get to the 889m summit (which is the famous view of the Western Morava River Meanders), there is a trail between the two. But you can backtrack if you want. You can also skip the 889m summit and go straight at this point, which will take you to the Meanders more quickly.
