Itinerary description
For better views as you walk toward Ostrvica, I'd recommend doing this hike in reverse. The hike itself is pretty easy and is a mixture of following a trail (sometimes a road), walking across fields and also forest hiking. You can see we lost the trail a few times - hopefully the ''intersection'' photos we have taken will help.
So, the BIG thing to be aware of if actually climbing on Ostrvica peak when you get there. I'd say it is not really for anyone scared of heights. There are steel cables to hold onto which helps, and you'll need to also do a bit of free-climbing... ahhhh but the views at the top make it totally worth it. And you don't need to make it all the way to the peak, just go as far as you are comfortable and stop there and enjoy the views. Gorgeous!!!
