Itinerary description

This is one of the most amusing hikes you can do in Serbia - and you will enjoy it more if you have someone with you who speaks Serbian and can read Cyrillic ...

I will not spoil the surprise, but bring a sense of humour.

The hike itself can be made longer by actually adding a climb to the summit of Ostrovica and back as part of this route. The only reason we did not do this is we started late in the day and did not have enough daylight left.

But if you are up for the challenge and have head torches in case needed for the descent, I think the sunset view from the top would be spectacular.

You could also make this into a very nice day hike by starting and ending at the start point, with the aim being to climb the summit and return.

Trail is a wide dirt road, so not challenging except it is all uphill.
