A spot close to the summit provides excellent panoramatic views of neighbouring mountains and valleys.

The summit of Smrk
As for vertical positioning my cell phone GPS device is off the mark as usual. It should be 1276m instead of 1325m. Within the summit you can spot the remnants of original mountain forest.

Along the way to the valley
Nice rock formation not far from the summit along the way to Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem. The plaque commemorates a local guy who died in the Dolomites. (sorry for the overexposed shots)

Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem
A church of St. Prokop and St. Barbora. This church was originally erected in Svaliava, Zakarpattia Oblast, western Ukraine. It had been dismantled in 1931, relocated to Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem and eventually consecrated. Prokop and Barbora are traditional miners´ saints.
