Itinerary description

Hello adventure seekers!

Embark on an unforgettable journey to Prenj Mountain with Meet Bosnia Tours! Nestled in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Prenj Mountain offers breathtaking landscapes and a challenging yet rewarding trekking experience.

Directions to the Starting Point:
Begin your adventure by heading west from Sarajevo on the M17 highway until you reach Konjic. At the first traffic light, turn left, cross the bridge, and head towards Boračko Lake. Before reaching Boračko Lake, turn right into the village of Borci, and then follow the dirt road all the way to Crno Polje. Please note that the road condition can sometimes be challenging, making it impassable for regular vehicles.

General Instructions:
From Crno Polje, head westward. The trail passes beneath Sivadija on your left, alongside the hidden Kamenac spring nestled in the rocks beside the path. The trail then merges with the path leading from Bijele Vode to Jezero, heading northwest through Lasin until reaching the mountain hut, Jezerce. Just below Osobac, a faintly marked trail diverges to the right, leading to the Osobac-Mali Osobac saddle. From there, ascend the steep grassy slope all the way to the summit.

Equipment:
Ensure you are equipped with standard mountaineering gear adapted to prevailing weather conditions.

Safety Information:
The trail is physically demanding, especially during the final ascent to Osobac. There is no landmine danger along this route. Exercise caution and avoid descending from Mali Osobac into Crno Polje. Allegedly, this section is mined.
