I have followed this trail  View more

I did it today, mostly following your track, but with a few variants at the beginning and the end.
I liked the scenery and the villages.
I did it alone and with sandals, both things NOT advisable of course.
Only for experienced people I would say.
The paved road from the other side is now reaching really close to the summit, maybe 15’ to go by foot.

Hi Daniele, I'm thinking to do it tomorrow on my own.I hope you can help me with few questions as you did this route recently: was it really 6km hike? Is the route ready to follow? I'm thinking to start the route from badian main road

    Hi Juralao
I published my track on Wikiloc under the name “Osmena Peak from Badian”, so you can check my itinerary.
I used a scooter to get to the beginning of the trail, saving 5km from Badian.
Then near the summit, following the advice of a local villager, I took a different route saving some time.
If you really start from Badian near the coast it will not be 6,5km to the top but 11,5 so 23km round trip.

You need a GPS of course, or otherwise keep asking the villagers which way to the top.
There’s a lot of vegetation in the middle part of the trail, but the trail can be followed.
Bring a minimum of one liter of water going up, then once near the summit you can buy some more is a shack store near the trail.
