Arriving at Bohinj Lake, you can take the Vogel cable car that goes up to "1500m." with splendid views to the Triglav on one side and the Sija and Vogel mountains towards the other.
We follow the route that goes from Orlove glave to Sija. It is a well-signposted road that takes you to the peak at 1860m without any further difficulty than the final stretch. The return journey can be done backwards following the same route of the trip.
As we have done well, we have decided to continue along the ridge of Sija towards Vogel.
It is a beautiful stretch that crosses two nests. Attention to the descent of the second neck at the foot of the Vogel, very straight although there are some pins to make sure.
Once you can climb here in 1 hour at the top of the Vogel.
We go down to find some of the paths that will take us back to the beginning of the route.
There are different alternatives depending on whether you want to take the lift to Orlove Glave, (take the turnoff to the right) or if you want to go down to the start of the cable car.
