Itinerary description

Vranovo brdo with the fort Sv.Andrija on top is one the greatest places in Boka to hike and enjoy the views. It can be reached from 3 different ways (Orahovac (3 different trails as well), Perast, Ledenice) but if you're with a car and don't want to walk back the same way, starting and ending in Orahovac would be the best though not entirely a loop as from Gornji Orahovac to Vranovo brdo there's only one way up and down.

Start/end of the trail: Orahovac, next to the St.George church (if coming from Kotor the steep concrete street on the right leads up to the church, there's a roadsign pointing to Green Village). Past the church there's a huge car park on the left. The trail starts just below to the right , there's a water spring at the very start, a saviour on the way back👌
Most of this trail is rocky and that's what makes it charming. The first part is not marked but if you just follow the path you'll end up at the main trail that zigzags up. At some point you will have to turn left, there's a blue arrow on the stone pointing up so pay attention. From there on it's a steep non marked ascent all the way to Gornji Orahovac, and closer to it there will be another turn to the left that even if you miss it, you'll still make it there just the longer way. Once on the main trail, go left for a few kilometres to finally reach the fort. There was some snow on the way and a bit of a drizzle at the top so not the best views this time.
From the fort you'll walk the same way back until you see the ruins of a small fort on top of the hill with the crossroads below, the middle leading to it, the left bypassing it and going towards Velje selo, Valista, and the right winding down to Orahovac. This one is the best for walking down in my opinion, long but not really strenuous and great views all the way. (There's another trail down behind that ruins and right from St.Nicolas church but steep and beautiful view only at the beginning.) To get back to the starting point you'll have to turn left by the end of the trail..
p.s. Not sure what happened with the gps but the track looks a bit weird a few times🤔
