La boucle se dessine sur le plateau agricole de l'Adour, un paysage entrecoupé de champs et de bosquets.
Le village est un bourg-bastide du 13ème siècle. Un château du 15ème siècle se situe sur les terres de la commune:le château de Lau (MH).

Le parcours
Le circuit part de la place du village vers le sud. Après le chemin grimpant jusqu'au plateau qui débute à la fontaine Saint-Leu, la plaine agricole se dévoile. Quatre kilomètres plus loin, l'itinéraire fait volte face à l'est par des bois de chênes pédonculés et tauzin. Le randonneur passera les maisons de Portuguès, Cadroué, et plongera dans le modeste vallon boisé du ruisseau de Haset. Puis il longera le parc du château de Lau et s'engagera dans la descente, vers la route qui ramène au bourg.

The trail
The circuit starts from the village central plaza to the south. Following the path climbing to the plateau that starts at the fountain of Saint-Leu, the agricultural plain reveals itself. Four kilometers away, the route makes a flip side to the east by pedunculate and Pyrenean oak woods. Hikers will pass the houses of Portuguès and Cadroué, and plunge into the small wooded valley of the Haset stream. Then they will run along the Lau castle park and engage in the descent to the road, back to the village.
