Note géographique et historique
La commune, située sur la voie du Puy, est traversée par un affluent du Gabas: le Bas. La baronnie de Miramont était une des 12 premières baronnies du Béarn. La chapelle romane de Sensacq du 11e siècle possède une charpente en forme de carène de navire et ses fonds baptismaux datent des Carolingiens.

Le parcours
Depuis cette étape de la voie du Puy, la boucle descend la plaine agricole vers le sud avant de pénétrer dans les collines à l'ouest. Le chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle mène alors à la vallée du bas et à la chapelle romane de Sensacq. Le marcheur longe la vallée vers le nord puis bifurque à l'est pour grimper un coteau abrupt par un chemin raviné par les pluies, et qui débouche sur le gîte du Bos d'où se déploie un charmant panorama. La route communale qui ramène le randonneur au village le replonge dans la peau du pèlerin.

Geographical and Historical notes
The town, located on the via Podensis , is crossed by a tributary of the Gabas river: the Bas river. The barony of Miramont was one of the first 12 baronies of Bearn. The Sensacq Romanesque chapel of the 11th century has a ship bottom-like structure and its baptismal font dates back from the Carolingian.

The trail
From this stage of the Puy way, the loop runs south, down the cultivated plain, before entering the hills at the west. The St James way then leads to the valley bottom and the Romanesque chapel of Sensacq. Walkers run along the valley to the north and then branches off to the east to climb a steep hill path gullied by the rains, and leading to the Bos guest house where unfolds a charming panorama. The municipal road walks hikers to the village and put them in the shoes of a St James pilgrim.
