Itinerary description
Nice circular walk with fantastic views on the Pandokrator on Corfu. The walk starts on a parking lot on the way to the top of the Pandokrator. The differences in altitude are small . The views on Corfu, Albania and the mainland of Greece are magnificent. Wait for a rather clear day to do this walk, but the climate on Corfu offers many of these days.

This route follows a gently undulating track that more or less follows the 3000' contour. The views South to Corfu Town and East to mainland Greece and Albania are stunning, and as the trail is good under foot, you can admire the view whilst walking. There is a slight "sting in the tail" in that for some unknown reason, the trail stops 200 yards before reaching the road below the aerials, and there is a bit of a scramble, clearly marked, up to the road. Very nice walk with stunning views os Kerkira, Greece and Albania. In a sunny summer day it’s very important to wear hat and carry fresh water.
Once we got the road we decided to walk up to the top of Pantokratoras where there is an amazing monastery, one of the most beautiful chapels in Corfu.

Very nice trail. The first part has a lot of green with several spots for a sneak peak in the forest. The second part is very beautiful with great views. Don't forget to stand at Megas Gremos for a great of Easter Corfu and Albania.
