Itinerary description

This trail starts from an unmarked trailhead = driving southbound on 49, the pull-out is just past Northside Elementary School. The trail is mostly southern portions of the Olmstead Loop Trail leading to Rim Trail where you can view birds-eye glimpses of the North Fork of the American River.

Though there are many sections fully exposed to the sun, there's an equal mix of shade too. Today, there were lots of cooling breezes.
