- There is a fence erected along the entrance of the trail along Old Upper Thompson Road. If you walk along the fence, there will be a small gate.
- Some points of the trail might require some bashing, especially once you've passed the woodcutters trail. Do wear thick clothes and gloves in case of thorns.
- Some parts of the trail have been blocked by fallen trees and overgrown weeds.
