Itinerary description
This route follows a part of the temporary road along the caldeira wall that was created after the lava flows of the 2014 eruption destroyed the main access road across the caldeira.
The route brings you from the Casa Marisa 2.0 hotel to the two waypoints of the Geocache GC6B9D1 (Lava na Caldeira - Ilha do Fogo).
You can return along the same route or take the short connection to the main road that replaced the temporary road eventually and follow that back to the starting point.
