Itinerary description

Easy family hike between Torreledones and Las Rozas. You can easily park on the street next to the trailhead, and then follow the narrow path up the valley (we took the right side to go there and came back on the other side, but it works just as well in opposite direction). The path is very easy to follow, and ends up on a dirt road that brings you west towards an intersection. Continue more or less straight and you will soon the the old dam. This is a very impressive building, dating back to the 1790s when they tried to build a canal all the way from Madrid to the Atlantic. After enjoying the view and a snack there, you return the same way you came. Before going around the hill back to the trailhead, head up the hill on the path slightly to the right to an old mansion. I don't know much about it, but it's worth a visit (rumor has it, that it's haunted!).
After poking around there a bit, come back down and follow a nice bath in a big loop on the west side of the hill back down.
