Itinerary description

At the end of this beautiful valley is one of Sisimiut’s most unusual attractions - a UFO! This unique backcountry hut is available for everyone to use on a first-come-first served basis, or you can hike there and back in the same day, including during winter (follow the dogsled tracks).

From the UFO, you have a 180-degree panoramic view over the Kangerluarsuk Tulleq fjord and across to the high mountains that hide the Aqqutikitsoq glacier.
The trail is very narrow, well-marked, and has mostly gentle to moderate grades. There are a few stream crossings that might be tricky early in the season or after a lot of rain.
