The Nuuksio National Park was created in 1994 to protect this beautiful part of the highlands of the Lake Nuuksio region and currently occupies more than 4500 hectares. You can find rocky hills covered with lichens, pine forests, lakes or swampy areas. There are several camping areas and shelters.
