Itinerary description

Taking a ferry to cross the Hardanger fjord we arrive at Jondal. From there we ascend to the ski resort.
The route starts at the ski resort on the Folge glacier. It is the only ski resort that opens throughout the summer taking advantage of the snow that falls on the glacier.
We take the path used by the station's machines to ascend to the track that is covered with snow and from there we ascend a total of 130 m for about a kilometer and a half until we reach the top of the slope from where we will see the lake. the feet of the Folgefonna glacier where it breaks. The views are spectacular if time permits.
Then we make the way of descent passing through the small glacial lakes that we are finding.

Hola, nosotros lo hicimos con Tierras Polares, suelen tener guias permanentes en Noruega todo el año y quiza podais concertarlo con ellos.
Nos alojamos en unas cabañas de madera en la ladera del fiordo en Torvikbygd. Estaban bastante bien y tenian un embarcadero donde se pueden alquilar canoas para dar una vuelta por el fiordo https://es.wikiloc.com/rutas-senderismo/noruega-glaciar-folgefonna-14453520/photo-8995438
Hola, para hacer esta ruta en Julio, crees que se puede hacer sin crampones, con unas botas normales de trekking? Gracias
Si, se puede hacer sin crampones si llevas botas y bastones, la ruta es corta y si se hace con cuidado no hay problema, aunque yo la hice en agosto y en las zonas de pendiente resbalaba un poco.
