Itinerary description
The first stretch north along Lake Michigan is troublesome, as a boulder breakwater makes progress difficult. You are better off following the North Shore Estates Rd north or remaining on the forest trails. Following the beach further north is clearly more interesting than the forest/ wood covered dunes.
