Scenery
Very difficult
This is a trail from hill top to the water fountain, I myself have done this trail several times. During the annual mountain festival, which is celebrated by Dongria Tribals of the state of Odisha in India, every year on last friday, saturday and sunday. Often there is animal and bird sacrifice, on the last day of the celebration. every 3 years, a buffalo is sacrificed.
This is the historical mountain and tribals have won over the mining company named Vedanta Alumina, owned by London based mining baron Anil Aggarwal.
Niyamgiri hills are home to rich bio-diversity of the world, which has not yet been enumerated.
