Itinerary description
Independence Day hike: from Porter Picnic Area, thru Porter House Site, up the incline, to White's Lagoon, up the Pig Trail to the road, down to Sand Point, on thru West Ridge Trail to Hoffman's Site, to Maple Falls and back to starting Point.
Found a geocaching pod on the way, and was almost killed by a crazed MTB'er on the West Ridge Trail. No mountain lions spotted, but plenty of animal tracks on a sandy bank of Bridge Creek. Number of people seen: hikers - 2, MTB'ers - [value off bounds] :)
