Ninoskhevi waterfall - Lagodehi

The beginning of the track is the village of Khizabavra. Of course, it is most convenient to get there by car, well, or order a transfer or taxi. It is far from Lagodekhi itself.

Rangers are sitting at the beginning of the trail, you need to register with them, and you will not be allowed to continue without registration :)

Important!! Ask the rangers to show you the beginning of the route!

The fact is that the old maps do not reflect the current state, and new trails have appeared that are not on the old tourist maps.

Therefore, do not hesitate to ask for help - fortunately, the people there are very friendly and always ready to help!

Why am I writing about this - we ourselves got on the wrong path on the first day and went in a completely different direction :-)

OK. The Rangers have shown you the beginning of the route. At the very beginning, the trail runs along the river and marked.

But: after about 700 meters - 1 km, the trail splits again!! There is an old trail along the river, which is marked on all tourist maps. And to the right and up goes a new well-groomed trail, which is NOT on the maps!

It's up to you to decide which path to follow, but they say the first one is impassable. It has long ceased to be cleaned and maintained, since the new trail is now considered the main one.

The new trail is practically a road, it goes up first, and then gradually descends to the waterfall.

It is impossible to get off it, children and elderly people can go there. The whole road passes through a pleasant beech forest in the shade.

As for me, the complexity of the route is below average. Why not easy? Well, after all, no one canceled the ascent.

Well, at the end we are waiting for an unforgettable view - the waterfall itself, and below the waterfall bowl - a large bath where you can swim and even dive :-)
