Nine Peaks is a perfect peak and is an alpine icon of Vancouver Island. As the name suggests, it has an irregular ridge with a series of small rocky pinnacles protruding above a gently convex lower glacial flank. Like all glaciers on Vancouver Island, Beauty Glacier is shrinking each year, but the annual snowfall will hopefully maintain the mountain's familiar shape.
Access is usually from the north from Buttle Lake Parkway via Bedwell Trail, although it seems to me that it can be reached from another area of the island.
Summary of the route is spent going and returning through the same place with camping and except for the first section of the route that runs by road and the rest is somewhat wild that is why I classify it as difficult through forests and cross country, be careful, the entire route is with snow in all ways at this time of year.
It is unpredictable to choose a professional guide from that area and acquire all the permits and pay the camping fee... and such and the route has been done in 4 days with the approach to the island.
