Itinerary description

A lovely quick night hike in Kneisseh mountain.
I, personally, have a special attachment to this majestic mountain. Fascinating to visit it in all seasons. Its beauty is unique and it offers splendid panorama all around, especially when on the top at the bombed channel 11 (the old Tele Liban channel). Dramatic 360 degrees views: Kfarselwen lakes, Mediterranean sea, Beirut, Barouk, Beqaa valley, Mont Hermon, Mighty Sannine, Zaarour, Jabal Moussa ...
We started at 6:30pm and started mounting up with high pace to catch the adorable sunset right next to the ruined roman temples and church at the top. Passed by the bombed channel 11 of Tele Liban at dawn and wandered back to our car at night.
Lovely rapid, brisk trip.
