Full day excursion from Kyanjin Gompa, very scenic and with breathtaking views of Lantang Lirung.
You go up the valley of the Lantang Lirung Glacier, north of the village, a steep climb then leads to the flat valley under the glacier that descends from the Yubra Himal, you climb along the north side of the valley and then go down to cross a stream (no bridge ).
We head towards a very steep detrital slope following the serpentines of the path up to a hill at about 4650 meters 300 in altitude (Tibetan flags), from here in a short time you reach the grassy summit dominated by Tibetan flags.

Langtang Valley Trek
Langtang is a narrow valley that lies just south of the Tibetan-border. It is sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. A trek to the Langtang Valley offers an opportunity to explore ethnic villages, climb small peaks and visit glaciers at comfortably low elevations.
